May comp surf photos

Nice clean offshore conditions

May comp report

The day started as a beautiful crisp Autumn morning. Neill St Dicky Beach was the location. Surf was small and inconsistent but offshore and clean. The sets produced some really nice longboard sliders. The late morning strong westerly wind gusts played havoc with the surf and the comp site. Not sure how strong the gusts were, but to blow over the comp lights and stand sending them crashing down over the rocks. That’s getting up there.

New members Nadia and Alyssa surfed really well in their debut comp, each winning a heat. Well done and welcome to the club. Everybody surfed really well.

All in all another great comp day. Big thanks to all the members for your help and assistance during the day for making the comp run so smoothly. Special mention goes to our new head judge Baxter for his excellent work in his first gig.

The points table has been updated. It can be viewed on laptops and computers, unfortunately the system has a glitch viewing them on mobiles and tablets.
